Neil is a Private Wealth Manager within Anderson Strathern Asset Management with over 25 years’ experience working within the financial services sector. He advises on a range of financial planning areas including Pensions and Retirement Planning, Strategic Investment, Tax Planning & Protection.
Neil is particularly interested in Pensions and Retirement Planning. Following the significant changes introduced in April 2015 (Pensions Freedom) he has experienced a significant increase in the number of clients wishing to better understand the options that are open to them and who are seeking advice on how best to plan for their retirement. With pensions being only one part of the financial jigsaw he ensures that clients’ receive a detailed personal financial summary encompassing Inheritance Tax Planning, Investments, Taxation and Protection.
Neil is a member of both the Chartered Insurance Institute and the Personal Finance Society and holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
In his spare time Neil is an enthusiastic badminton player playing at both league and competition level. He is also a keen motorcyclist and his ambition is to one day combine his love of the United States and motorcycling by travelling the length of Route 66.
